Multiplayer
Flying FlightOut online with up to 16 pilots: joining a server, what's different online, and hosting your own.
On this page
FlightOut is a multiplayer combat flight simulator: up to 16 pilots fly the whole of Kashmir together on one server, starting lined up on the runway at Srinagar, Leh or Skardu.

The basics
- Desktop only. Multiplayer is in the Windows, macOS and Linux versions. The browser version can't use the fast networking it needs.
- Free for all. There are no teams yet: every other pilot shows as unknown (yellow), and anyone can shoot anyone.
- Everyone flies the Su-27, with the load-out they choose on the ground.
- The server is in charge of the time, the weather, every missile and every hit.
- Same version. You and the server must run the same multiplayer version of the game. 0.5.1 and 0.5.2 can fly together.
- No AI jets, no chat, no voice and no scoreboard yet. There is a kill feed.
